The Role of Artificial Intelligence in our Life Soon

The Alumni Hungary Network launches the Alumni Hungary Webinar Series!

László Mérő

Our first guest will be László Mérő mathematician, prize-winning research psychologist, author and professor.

At what stage is the artificial intelligence research nowadays? How will AI change our everyday life or even the labour market? Should we be afraid of robots? Has science fiction become reality already? We will be looking for the answers together!

László Mérő has already held lectures at more than 10 universities around the world. He is the co-founder of various companies and currently works as a counsellor, trainer, and coach as well. He led a software development company for two decades. He wrote books for the broader intellectual public, many of them available in several languages, such as Habits of Mind: The Power and Limits of Rational Thought; Moral Calculations; The Evolution of Money, and many more. His books analyse the quasi-rational mechanisms of people and the nature of rationality. Beyond professional circles, he is best known for his works written mainly for a broader intellectual audience.
